All candidates undergo background and criminal record checks, commonly known as DBS checks. We also conduct personality profiling to ensure we select candidates who ‘best fit’ the role and Tiggo Care's company culture. Lastly, we’re committed to recruiting an inclusive and diverse workforce, one that reflects our society and our client base.
All our carers participate in a bespoke and extensive training programme, which equips them with all the skills they need to deliver care to our exceptional standards.
We believe the best care is delivered by happy carers and so we’re committed to looking after our staff.
All of our carers are paid the Real London Living Wage as an absolute minimum. We also pay for our carers' training and travel time, unlike many other home care providers in London, which ensures our staff are fully compensated for their time. We also contribute to all of our carers' pension schemes.
We care about our carers’ health and well-being and offer several perks to help maintain physical and mental health. One such perk is our employee assistance program where carers can access free confidential support from a trained counsellor to speak about work-related or unrelated issues.

DECISION
Following the induction, we’ll let you know whether you’ve been successful in your application. If you have, we’ll get you started with some online training and prepare you for the specialist in-house training that takes place during your first week.
SAFETY CHECK
We’ll conduct pre-employment checks to ensure your suitability for a career in care.
START WORK
Once your training and our checks are complete, you’ll be all set to start working for us.
