We know it’s not always possible to plan ahead and that events can happen that require families to find care assistants at short notice. When this happens we will provide you with emergency care within 24 hours of your first call and we strive to introduce carers on the same day.
Emergency care doesn’t have to be of a low standard. All of our care assistants are professionally trained and undergo thorough background checks. If you need ongoing care we will look to keep the same carers in place so that you continue to receive the same personalised care service from the carers you know best.
We have a 24/7 emergency support line where a trained professional is always available to answer your questions in the case of an emergency. Should you need emergency care assistance one of our carers will be on hand to support you.

At Tiggo Care, all of our carers undergo a rigorous recruitment and induction process. They are fully vetted and background checked, with all references followed up. Our carers undertake their training on the best eLearning system currently available within the UK care market, ensuring they are well placed to deliver the best possible service. Specialist training courses such as moving and handling, medications and basic life support are also completed by our carers face to face, as we feel these courses are more effective when delivered in person.
