We offer a variety of specialist care services across London from housekeeping and companionship to live-in care and night care.
If you or a loved one are beginning to find personal care more challenging and need some extra support, please get in touch.
Our team of home care assistants support adults with personal care living all over South West London. Our care assistants can assist with bathing and showering, toileting and continence, oral care and hair care, and help getting dressed and undressed. We can also provide specialist support for stoma and catheter care.
Personal care support can be arranged via daily home care visits or as part of a wider live-in care service. Our home care services are tailored to your specific needs and budget. We will make a Care Plan outlining your exact requirements which we create alongside you and your family members.
Whatever your care needs and wherever your loved one is on their care journey, please contact us and let’s talk. We're here to help.
There are multiple times in life when you might struggle with personal care. For example, as you get older you may experience decreased mobility and find it difficult to safely bath or use your shower. Younger adults might also struggle with personal care following an accident or a planned operation. Whatever the reason, it’s important you maintain good personal care to avoid unnecessary health complications, such as a urinary tract infection.
All of our carers are trained to support adults with personal care, whether that is helping you or a loved one to use a shower safely or assisting with a strip wash in bed. No matter your personal care needs, our care assistants will treat you with dignity and respect, while encouraging you to remain as independent as possible.
Receiving personal care support for the first time can be quite daunting. That’s why we know it’s so important for carers to treat you with dignity and respect. Our care assistants will always encourage you to be as independent as possible and they will only assist you with the personal care tasks you want help with.
When you’re receiving personal care support you want to see the same one or two carers each week so you don’t have to explain how you like to be supported each time a care visit takes place. We do everything we can to ensure the same carers support you each week and we will always inform you if we need to introduce someone new.
Some people are surprised to learn that you can receive personal care in the comfort of your own home and that you don’t need to move to a care home to get personal care support. Our care assistants will visit you in your own home, assisting you with all of your personal care needs, so that you don’t have to move to a residential care home.

From Acton to Dulwich and Notting Hill to Wimbledon - wherever you live in London, our carers are ready to support you.
"Supporting clients with personal care is a very important part of my job. At first, many people might find it uncomfortable because they’re not used to being supported with personal care, so I know it’s important that I make them feel comfortable and respect their privacy. Everyone is different and the personal care I provide must be tailored to them."
Our Personal Care service is based on personal experience
We understand, first-hand how important it is to secure flexible and bespoke home care for your loved one.
“Tiggo Care is born out of my own personal experiences, following my struggle to find suitable care for my parents, both of whom lived with rare diseases..."
Chris Williams - Tiggo Care Founder
At Tiggo Care we understand how precious your loved one is to you and how unique they are. We also appreciate how overwhelming it can be to research and source the most suitable type of care.
We fundamentally believe that there is no ‘one size fits all’ care package and like to work with you and your loved one to understand your specific requirements. We’ll then create a tailored care package and match your relative with their ideal carer.
Unlike some other care providers, we are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission. This means we are regularly inspected, rated and audited to ensure we are a safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led organisation, committed to delivering the best possible care.
We’re also proud members of the Homecare Association, the U.K’s membership body for home care providers, which holds organisations to a high set of standards and requests them to abide by a strict code of practice
At Tiggo Care, all of our carers undergo a rigorous recruitment and induction process. They are fully vetted and background checked, with all references followed up. Our carers undertake their training on the best eLearning system currently available within the UK care market, ensuring they are well placed to deliver the best possible service. Specialist training courses such as moving and handling, medications and basic life support are also completed by our carers face to face, as we feel these courses are more effective when delivered in person.

Personal care is when you receive support with a variety of daily living tasks. This might include washing and bathing, going to the toilet, or assistance with hair care and oral care. What personal care you receive will depend entirely on your needs and wishes.
